Eleven Thunderbolt and USB ports
This OWC docking station adds eleven ports to a single Thunderbolt 4 host connection. Four downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports let you attach storage, accessories and bus-powered devices without daisy-chain limits. Gigabit Ethernet, an SD 4.0 UHS-II reader and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack complete the I/O set for creative and office workflows.
Host port must be Thunderbolt 3 or later
The dock requires a host computer with an available Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 port to deliver full 40 Gb/s bandwidth and 96 W charging. USB-C or USB-A hosts are supported through the included certified cable but may limit display output and data rates. Thunderbolt 1 or 2 Macs are not supported over Thunderbolt; they can connect only via USB-A with reduced functionality.
Innergize software manages Atlas cards
The bundled Innergize utility provides health monitoring, performance tuning and firmware updates when OWC Atlas memory cards are used in the built-in UHS-II reader. Standard SD cards work normally without the software. The dock also includes a certified Thunderbolt 4 host cable so no separate cable purchase is needed for supported hosts.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and do I need to buy any cables separately?
The dock ships with a certified Thunderbolt 4 cable for the host connection; the three downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports and four USB-A ports use your existing device cables, so no extra cables are required.
Should I choose the Thunderbolt 4 host port or a USB host connection for full 40 Gb/s bandwidth?
Use the Thunderbolt 4 host port on a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 computer to get the full 40 Gb/s link; a USB host connection will limit bandwidth and some features.
How does the 96 W charging figure translate when the dock is driving two 4K 60 Hz displays and Ethernet?
The dock can supply up to 96 W to the host laptop while simultaneously running two 4K 60 Hz displays, Gigabit Ethernet, SD UHS-II at 312 MB/s and all USB ports.
