Eight-module 128GB DDR5 4800 CL40 ECC registered RDIMM kit for servers
Capacity 128GB (8 x 16GB)
Rank 1Rx8
This kit supplies 128GB of DDR5 ECC Registered memory across eight 16GB modules for workstations and servers that require registered DIMMs. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or systems that use unbuffered or load-reduced memory.
The modules operate at DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) with CL40 latency at 1.1V, conforming to JEDEC specifications. Registered buffering adds a clock cycle, so the platform must support registered DIMMs and the DDR5 4800 speed grade.
Each module uses a 1Rx8 organisation, which determines how the memory controller addresses the kit. The server or workstation must accept 1Rx8 registered DIMMs in an eight-module population for this upgrade to function.
Measured against everything we stock in ECC Server RAM, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
This kit provides 128GB total across eight 16GB modules, so choose it when your workload and motherboard slot count can use the full amount.
The modules run at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency at 1.1V, giving the bandwidth and timing the platform negotiates at that JEDEC speed.
The 288-pin registered DIMM form factor only fits server and workstation boards that support ECC RDIMM memory; it will not work in standard desktop systems.
