128 GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered RDIMM for Lenovo ThinkAgile VX servers
This 128GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered DIMM is built for Lenovo ThinkAgile VX servers running Xeon SP Gen 2 processors. The module targets administrators who need to expand memory capacity in 2U4N nodes such as the VX2320, VX3320, VX3520-G and VX3720.
The stick meets JEDEC PC4-23400 CL21 specifications at 1.2V and will also operate at 2133, 2400 and 2666 MHz when the platform requires lower speeds. ECC registered operation prevents data corruption in multi-socket workloads and the module cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs.
A single 128GB rank-8Rx4 module plugs directly into the server's DDR4 slots without a heat spreader, keeping clearance tight for dense 2U chassis. Registered signalling reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing full population of all slots in supported ThinkAgile VX configurations.

The module follows JEDEC DDR4 standards and is designed to meet OEM specifications, so no rank-specific firmware updates are needed for the VX2320.
The 1.2V DDR4 module operates within standard JEDEC thermal limits; the registered buffer and ECC logic maintain stability before any temperature threshold is reached.
At 1.2V the module consumes only the power defined by the DDR4 2933 JEDEC specification, keeping heat output low in the VX3320 or VX3520-G.
