A single 128GB DDR4 3200 ECC registered RDIMM for Thinkmate RAX servers, running at 1.2V with CL22 latency
This OWC module delivers 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory in a single 288-pin RDIMM. It is built for Thinkmate RAX QS12-12E7, QN10-11E7, QN10-21E2, QN24-12E7 and QN24-22E7 platforms that require registered error-correcting DIMMs. The module operates at 3200MHz with a CAS latency of 22 and runs at 1.2V. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.
The RDIMM format and registered buffer demand a motherboard chipset and CPU memory controller that support ECC registered DDR4. Mixing this module with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs is not supported and will prevent the system from posting. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2933MHz bus speeds allows installation in older slots while the platform negotiates the highest common frequency. No heat spreader is fitted, so chassis airflow must cover the bare PCB.
JEDEC-standard construction and 8Rx4 organisation provide the signal integrity needed for continuous server and workstation operation. Error-correcting code detects and corrects single-bit errors in real time, reducing silent data corruption during long compute runs. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, helping maintain stability when all slots are populated. ROHS-compliant materials meet environmental requirements for 24/7 deployment.

The CL22 timing at 3200MHz provides standard DDR4 latency for registered ECC modules; the 8Rx4 rank structure distributes access across multiple banks to maintain throughput during continuous server workloads.
Operating at 1.2V without a heat spreader, the module relies on chassis airflow; registered buffering adds minimal power draw, so typical server cooling handles sustained operation without additional thermal management.
This module is validated for Thinkmate RAX QS12-12E7, QN10-11E7, QN10-21E2, QN24-12E7 and QN24-22E7 systems requiring DDR4 3200 registered ECC memory.
