Server memory upgrade

This 8 GB DDR3L ECC registered DIMM is built for Lenovo ThinkServer RD330, RD340, RD430, RD440 and RD530 systems. It replaces Lenovo part numbers 00D5035, 00D5036, 46W0700 and 46W0771. The module is not compatible with standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory.

Build integration

The 240-pin stick fits directly into an empty DDR3L RDIMM slot on the supported ThinkServer boards and runs at 1.35 V. It requires a server or workstation platform that accepts registered ECC memory; consumer motherboards will not support it.

Thermals and power

Operating at 1.35 V DDR3L voltage, the module draws less power than standard DDR3 parts and runs without a heat spreader. In normal server workloads it stays within JEDEC thermal limits using the chassis airflow already present in the ThinkServer platforms.
