A 64GB quad-channel DDR3L 1866 CL13 ECC Registered RDIMM kit for servers and workstations
Capacity 64GB (4 x 16GB)
Rank 2Rx4
This OWC kit supplies 64 GB of DDR3L 1866 memory in four 16 GB registered ECC modules. It is built for workstations, servers, NAS devices and routers that require 240-pin DDR3L RDIMMs. The modules run at 1.35 V with CL13 latency and meet JEDEC and RoHS standards.
The kit upgrades systems still running lower-capacity or slower DDR3L registered memory. The jump is worthwhile when the platform supports 1866 MT/s registered DIMMs and the workload benefits from ECC error correction and the full 64 GB capacity across four slots.
This memory fits servers and workstations that accept 240-pin DDR3L registered ECC modules. It will not work in standard desktop computers or any system that requires unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs. Buyers needing consumer desktop memory should look elsewhere.
Measured against everything we stock in ECC Server RAM, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
No — they are 240-pin DDR3L ECC registered DIMMs made for workstations, servers or NAS systems and will not work in standard desktop boards that expect unbuffered memory.
Install the modules in matched pairs according to the motherboard manual — typically slots of the same colour — so each channel receives one 16 GB DIMM; a common mistake is placing all four in adjacent slots and leaving the second channel empty.
No firmware or battery maintenance is required; the modules are JEDEC-compliant DDR3L RDIMMs that operate at 1.35 V and rely on the system's memory controller for ECC scrubbing.
