Eight 128 GB DDR5-4800 registered ECC modules totalling 1 TB for Dell PowerEdge C6600, C6620, MX760C, R660 and R6615 servers
This kit provides 1 TB of DDR5 4800 memory across eight 128 GB registered DIMMs. It is built for Dell PowerEdge C6600, C6620, MX760C, R660 and R6615 servers that require ECC registered modules. Standard desktop systems cannot use this memory.
Each module operates at 1.1 V without a heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. Registered ECC operation adds minimal electrical load compared with unbuffered alternatives. No active cooling components are included, so acoustic output depends entirely on the host platform fan profile.
The package contains only the eight memory modules; no cables, tools or software utilities are bundled. OWC validates every module to JEDEC and RoHS standards, delivering a warranty-safe upgrade that preserves the original server warranty. Free lifetime technical support is available directly from the manufacturer.

Other versions of this model
Power down the server, open the chassis, align each module's notch with the slot key, press firmly until both ejector tabs click, then populate all eight slots in the order shown in the R660 service manual; the step most often missed is seating every module fully before closing the cover.
No routine maintenance is required; if a module fails, replace the individual 128GB RDIMM — the kit carries a limited lifetime warranty with advanced replacement, so a single faulty stick can be swapped without returning the full set.
The DDR5 4800 CL40 specification sets the maximum data rate and latency; under continuous load the memory controller will throttle to stay within JEDEC thermal and timing limits before any other bottleneck occurs.
