32 GB dual-channel DDR3L ECC registered kit running at 1600 MHz with CL11 latency for Supermicro SuperServer 8047R, 8048B, F617R2, F617R3 and F627G2 systems
Capacity 32GB (2 x 16GB)
This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 registered DIMMs built for Supermicro SuperServer 8047R, 8048B, F617R2, F617R3 and F627G2 systems. It delivers error-correcting, registered memory for workloads that require data integrity and sustained uptime. The modules operate at 1.35 V and conform to the PC3L-12800 standard. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.
Each module fits a standard 240-pin DDR3 slot and requires no tools beyond opening the chassis. Because the memory is registered and uses a 2Rx4 organisation, it must be installed in matched pairs and cannot be mixed with unbuffered DIMMs. The most common issue is attempting to use these modules in a consumer motherboard that lacks registered-memory support, which prevents the system from posting. Verify the server model before installation.
The 32 GB total (2 x 16 GB) provides ample room for virtualisation, database caching and concurrent application workloads on supported Supermicro platforms. Performance scales with the DDR3L 1600 bus, so memory-bound tasks run within the rated CL11 latency. The limit is reached when the platform’s maximum DIMM count or memory-controller capacity is exceeded, at which point additional modules cannot be addressed.

Other versions of this model
Enter the server BIOS or use a tool like CPU-Z and confirm the memory speed shows 1600 MT/s, CAS latency 11 and voltage 1.35 V; the POST screen should also report 32 GB of registered ECC memory detected.
The kit includes two 16 GB 240-pin DDR3L ECC registered RDIMMs; no additional cables, brackets or heat spreaders are required for the listed Supermicro models.
The F617R3 series is qualified for 2Rx4 registered DIMMs; this 2 x 16 GB 2Rx4 kit matches the validated population rule for that platform.
