32 GB DDR4 2400 MHz ECC registered RDIMM, CL17, 1.2 V, 2Rx4, validated for Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 servers
This 32GB DDR4 2400MHz CL17 registered DIMM is built for the Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 (E5-2600 v3) server platform. It delivers 32GB of ECC registered memory in a single 288-pin module operating at 1.2V. The module is designed for enterprise workloads that require error correction and signal buffering. It will not work in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered memory.
Under continuous server workloads the ECC registered design corrects single-bit errors and reduces electrical load on the memory controller. The CL17 latency at 2400MHz provides consistent throughput for virtualisation, database and compute tasks. Registered buffering helps maintain signal integrity when multiple modules populate the chassis. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the DIMM slots must be maintained by the system fans.
The module installs in any available 288-pin DDR4 ECC RDIMM slot on the nx360 M5. Ensure the server is powered off and the ejection levers are open before seating the DIMM firmly until the levers click. A common issue is mixing this registered ECC module with unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs, which prevents the system from posting. Verify the existing memory population rules in the Lenovo service guide before adding this 32GB stick.

At 1.2 V the 32 GB RDIMM draws modest power and runs without a heat spreader; normal server airflow keeps it cool during all-day workloads.
The nx360 M5 must use an E5-2600 v3 processor and a motherboard that accepts 288-pin DDR4 registered ECC RDIMMs; unbuffered DIMMs cannot be used.
Yes — it replaces part numbers 46W0832, 46W0833, 46W0835, 4X70G88320 and 4X70M09263, so it will operate alongside identical registered ECC modules in the same system.
