It is built for Cisco UCS B200 M6, C125 M5, C220 M6, C240 M6 and C245 M6 servers that require load-reduced registered DIMMs. The kit is not compatible with standard desktop platforms or with unbuffered and standard registered ECC memory.

Installation Notes

Each 288-pin module installs in the server DIMM slots without tools. The load-reduced design reduces electrical load on the memory bus, but the modules must not be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered ECC DIMMs. Backward compatibility covers 2133, 2400, 2666 and 2933 MHz bus speeds if the platform requires a lower frequency.

Capacity and Limits
