Single 128GB DDR4 3200 CL22 ECC registered RDIMM for Dell PowerEdge R6525, R750, R750xa, R7515 and R7525 servers
This single 128GB DDR4 3200 module brings ECC registered reliability to compatible Dell PowerEdge servers. The 288-pin RDIMM operates at 1.2V with CL22 latency and an 8Rx4 rank structure. It targets administrators who need maximum capacity per slot in R6525, R750, R750xa, R7515 or R7525 platforms.
Swapping smaller registered modules for this 128GB unit frees DIMM slots while keeping JEDEC-standard timings. The upgrade is worthwhile when the workload demands more memory bandwidth than the current population delivers and the platform supports 8Rx4 registered DIMMs. It will not work in systems that require unbuffered or load-reduced memory.
The module fits 288-pin DDR4 slots in the listed PowerEdge chassis and runs at 3200, 2933, 2666, 2400 or 2133 MT/s depending on the server configuration. No heat spreader is present, so airflow must meet the server manufacturer’s guidelines. Mixing with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs is not supported.

Yes, the module uses the standard 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM form factor required by the R750 and the other listed PowerEdge servers.
Power down the server, open the chassis, align the notch on the 288-pin edge connector with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify in BIOS that the 3200MHz speed and ECC registered mode are detected.
The memory itself has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance; replace it only if diagnostics report correctable or uncorrectable ECC errors, or if a future CPU upgrade demands a different speed or rank configuration.
