4GB DDR4 SODIMM running at 2133MHz CL15 for Dell Precision 3510, 5510 and 5720 laptops
This 4GB DDR4 SODIMM is built for Dell Precision 3510, 5510 and 5720 mobile workstations. It plugs straight into the 260-pin slot and runs at 2133MHz with CL15 latency. The module is unbuffered, non-ECC and single-rank for direct compatibility.
The stick follows JEDEC PC4-17000 specifications at 1.2V, so it draws minimal power and produces little extra heat inside a thin chassis. No heat spreader is fitted, keeping the profile low for tight laptop bays. Noise stays at zero because there are no moving parts.
A single SODIMM slot accepts the upgrade with no cables or brackets required. The 1Rx8 layout leaves any second slot free for additional capacity. Builders who need ECC error correction or registered buffering must choose a different module.

Other versions of this model
Power off the laptop, remove the base cover, align the notch on the module with the slot key, insert until the gold contacts are fully hidden, then press down evenly until both side clips click into place.
No scheduled maintenance is required; the module has no heat spreader and runs at 1.2V. Replace it only if a memory test reports errors or you need more than 4GB capacity.
The 4GB capacity is the first bottleneck; once the operating system exhausts physical RAM it swaps to storage, which is far slower than the 2133MHz data rate.
