8GB DDR3L 1600 ECC registered RDIMM for Supermicro X9 server motherboards
This registered DIMM delivers 8GB of DDR3L memory at 1600 MT/s with CL11 latency and 1.35 V operation. It targets administrators upgrading or repairing Supermicro X9DAL, X9DAX, X9DB3, X9DBi or X9DBL platforms that require ECC registered modules.
The module directly substitutes Supermicro part numbers MEMDR380LHL07ER16, MEMDR380LSL10ER16, MEMDR380LSL14ER16 and MEMDR380LSV04ER16. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing capacity limits virtualization density or when unbuffered memory causes instability in these workstation and server boards.
The 240-pin DDR3L interface caps bandwidth at PC3L-12800 and requires a registered memory controller. It will not function in consumer desktop boards that accept only unbuffered DIMMs, nor can it be mixed with unbuffered modules on the same channel. Buyers needing higher throughput or newer DDR generations must choose a different platform.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the module uses the standard 240-pin DDR3L form factor required by the X9DAX series and other listed Supermicro boards.
Align the notch on the 240-pin edge connector with the slot key, press firmly until both side latches click, and verify the registered buffer is recognised in BIOS.
Replace if the system logs correctable ECC errors that climb over time or if memory diagnostics report uncorrectable faults on the 8GB module.
