Large Aluminum Pet Door for Medium to Large Dogs

The Ownpets PET0192 is a double-flap pet door built with a solid aluminum frame for medium to large dogs up to 110lb. Its inner frame measures 11.6 by 16.8 inches with an overall thickness of 2.6 inches. The silver finish resists rust and stands up to chewing or scratching.

Weatherproof Double-Flap Design Handles Daily Use

Double-layer flaps with magnetic closure seal against wind and rain on both door and wall installations. UV-resistant material prevents warping or fading through hot and cold seasons. The sturdy aluminum construction maintains alignment under repeated heavy traffic without sagging.

Replaces Basic Plastic Flaps When Security Matters

An included aluminum backplate and two locking pins lock the opening tight at night or while away, keeping wildlife and strays out. The rigid frame eliminates the flex and drafts common with lightweight plastic inserts. Not suited for cats or small breeds needing a smaller cut-out.

Questions about this item

How well does the 2.6-inch thick aluminum frame block drafts and noise when the magnetic flaps close all day?

The 2.6-inch thick aluminum frame holds double magnetic flaps that seal tightly, reducing drafts and outside noise while resisting UV damage in hot or cold climates.

What wall or door thickness range can the 14.2 by 20.2-inch outer frame accommodate during installation?

The 14.2 by 20.2-inch outer frame mounts directly onto standard doors or walls; the 2.6-inch overall depth fits typical exterior door and wall thicknesses without extra parts.

Will the 11.6 by 16.8-inch inner opening let my existing 110-pound large dog pass without hitting the magnetic flaps?

The 11.6 by 16.8-inch inner frame is rated for dogs up to 110 lb, so a large dog of that weight can move through freely while the flaps snap shut behind it.
