PressGuard Coated Report Cover

The Oxford 71606 is a legal-size report cover designed for students and professionals who need to organise loose pages securely. Its prong clip holds documents firmly without punching holes. The black coated finish resists everyday wear. It suits classrooms, offices and home filing.

Prong Clip and 2" Capacity

The metal prong fastener lets users add or remove sheets quickly while keeping them aligned. A 2" capacity accommodates thick reports, project portfolios or multiple handouts in one cover. The coated surface protects contents from spills and scuffs during transport.

Durable Build for Daily Use

The stiff cover board and reinforced spine maintain shape when the cover is full. Rounded corners reduce snagging in bags or drawers. Legal dimensions fit standard folders and filing cabinets. The neutral black colour matches professional environments.

Questions about this item

Does the 2" capacity prong clip need periodic replacement?

The prong clip is a fixed metal fastener built into the cover; it does not wear out and requires no scheduled replacement.

What limits how many sheets can stay secured in the 71606 cover?

The 2" capacity of the prong clip is the hard limit; once that thickness is reached the clip cannot close properly.

Does the PressGuard coating affect heat buildup when the cover sits on a desk all day?

The coated cover is passive material with no electronics, so it generates no heat and its surface temperature matches the room.
