1946 DeSoto Suburban Ambulance Diecast

This 1/87 scale model reproduces a 1946 DeSoto Suburban Ambulance in dark blue with Junction City Ambulance markings. It is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts and measures approximately 2.375 inches long. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging inside a plastic display showcase.

Collectors seeking true-to-scale detail

The officially licensed replica features a detailed interior and exterior but does not have any openings. It suits adult hobbyists who want a display-ready piece for an HO scale layout or a curated shelf. Buyers who need functional doors, removable parts or play-oriented features should look elsewhere.

Compact display footprint at 1/87 scale

At just over two inches long the model fits easily into a dense diorama or a small display case without crowding adjacent pieces. The fixed construction means there are no moving elements to adjust or maintain. Collectors requiring larger scales or articulated components will find this size limiting.
