Questions about this item

How long will the 2.25 inch model resist paint chipping under sustained display handling?

The diecast metal body with plastic parts is finished in Coronado Yellow and sealed in the original unopened packaging, so the factory paint layer remains intact until the box is opened.

Does the sealed showcase generate any heat or noise when the 1957 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible sits on a shelf all day?

The model has no moving parts, electronics or power source, so it produces zero heat and zero noise in continuous display.

What display base or track system must I already own for this 1/87 scale diecast to sit securely?

The car comes inside its own plastic display showcase, so no separate base, track or mounting hardware is required.
