Scale and purpose

This 1/87 scale diecast model replicates a 1959 Plymouth Savoy Sedan in powder blue. It is made for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value true-to-scale detail in a compact display piece.

Condition and presentation

The model arrives brand new in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. It is housed in a plastic display showcase that protects the diecast metal body and plastic parts without requiring any openings on the model itself.

Display fit and constraints

At approximately 2.25 inches long, the sedan occupies minimal shelf or layout space. The fixed, sealed construction means there are no moving parts to position, so it sits ready for immediate display in a showcase, diorama or cabinet.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 1959 Plymouth Savoy on an HO scale layout without damaging the powder blue paint?

The diecast sedan sits on its own wheels; simply place it on the track or scenic base — no adhesive or screws are required.

Will the plastic display showcase or the diecast body need replacement over time?

The showcase protects the model from dust and handling; the metal body and plastic parts are finished in durable paint that does not require scheduled replacement.

At what temperature does the 2.25 inch model risk warping during prolonged display?

Standard indoor temperatures are safe; the diecast metal and plastic components remain stable well above normal room conditions.
