OXS Storm G2 Wireless Gaming Headset

The OXS Storm G2 is a wireless gaming headset built for players who want low-latency audio across PC, console and mobile devices. It connects through a 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth 5.3 or a 3.5mm jack, covering most modern platforms. A detachable boom microphone and a built-in mic handle both competitive chat and casual calls. Three EQ presets let you switch between surround, game and music profiles instantly.

Battery Life and Charging

A full charge takes roughly 4 hours and delivers up to 40 hours of playback with the RGB lighting off, or 24 hours with lighting active at moderate volume. The lithium-ion cell keeps the headset light at 0.48 kilograms, so long sessions stay comfortable. Environmental noise cancellation on both microphones reduces background sound during calls. The over-ear protein leather pads add passive isolation without clamping pressure.

Upgrade Path and Limitations

This headset replaces older stereo models that lack virtual 7.1 surround or multi-mode EQ switching. The jump is worthwhile if you need a single headset that moves between a desktop, a console and a phone without re-pairing. It does not suit buyers who require simultaneous dual-device Bluetooth audio or active noise cancellation for travel. PS5 and PS4 users must use the 2.4GHz dongle, as Bluetooth mode is not supported on those consoles.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2.4 GHz dongle on a PC, and what step is often missed?

Plug the dongle into a USB Type-A or Type-C port, then set the headset as the default audio device in Windows sound settings — many users forget to switch the output device.

Which part will need replacement first, and when should I expect it?

The lithium-ion battery is the only wear item; after several hundred charge cycles it will hold less than the rated 40 hours and should be serviced.

What limit appears first during a long gaming session with RGB on?

Battery life drops to roughly 24 hours with RGB enabled, so plan a recharge after a full day of play.
