Plaster-impregnated gauze for modelling

These Pacon 52720 plaster strips arrive as dry gauze impregnated with plaster. Wet a strip, lay it over an armature and it bonds to itself or any porous surface. Once dry the shell sands smooth and takes paint without priming. The pack weighs 20 lbs and is sold new.

Classroom art projects and hobby sculpting

Teachers and hobbyists who need a quick-set, paintable shell for masks, terrain or figurines will find this supply convenient. Buyers who want a liquid casting plaster, a pre-coloured compound or a non-plaster modelling clay should look at something else.

Questions about this item

What does the 20 lbs weight mean for positioning the cabinet?

At 20 lbs the unit can be lifted by one person and placed on any standard desk or shelf without special brackets.

What is the correct way to set up the drawer cabinet and what step is often missed?

Remove the cabinet from the box, set it on a level surface and align the drawers so the runners engage fully; skipping the level check makes drawers stick.
