Heavyweight Construction Paper

Pacon Tru-Ray construction paper delivers 50 sheets of 76 lb pink stock measuring 12 by 18 inches. The 100% vat-dyed sulphite formulation uses longer, stronger fibers for consistent colour through the sheet. Acid-free composition supports archival storage without yellowing. Teachers, students and crafters receive a reliable medium for daily classroom or studio work.

Scoring Folding And Curling Performance

The heavyweight structure withstands scoring, folding and curling without cracking or tearing. Smooth finish accepts pencil, crayon, marker and light paint evenly across the surface. Superior fade resistance keeps projects brighter longer under display lighting. Acid-free chemistry protects artwork from deterioration over time. These properties change how the paper behaves during hands-on techniques.

Durability And Daily Handling

Tough fibre construction resists edge wear when sheets are stacked, distributed or stored in trays. Smooth texture prevents snagging on rings or fasteners in filing systems. Fade-resistant dye maintains visual consistency across bulletin boards and portfolios. Acid-free stock ensures long-term integrity for records or keepsakes. The pack size supports repeated use without frequent reordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 76 lb sulphite stock need any special storage to keep its acid-free archival quality?

Keep the pack flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; the acid-free, vat-dyed sulphite resists fading and yellowing without extra treatment.

How many 12 x 18 sheets can I score and fold before the 50-sheet pack runs out?

The pack contains 50 sheets; each fold or score uses one sheet, so you have 50 folding cycles before you need a new pack.

Will the smooth-finish 76 lb paper jam or curl after continuous feeding through a desktop printer all day?

The heavyweight sulphite is designed for scoring and folding rather than high-volume printer feeds; test a few sheets first to confirm reliable feeding.
