4K PTZ camera with 24X zoom

The Panasonic AW-UE40WPJ5 is a 4K PTZ conferencing device that combines a wide pan-tilt-zoom range with built-in auto tracking. It outputs video over HDMI and supports NDI workflows for IP-based production. The white chassis is manufactured in Japan and designed for permanent installation in meeting rooms, lecture halls or houses of worship.

Ideal for single-camera productions

This unit suits operators who need automated subject tracking without a dedicated camera operator and who can work with a single HDMI or NDI feed. It is less suited for productions that require multiple coordinated camera angles, SDI connectivity or genlock synchronisation. Buyers needing a wider optical zoom range or redundant power inputs should evaluate alternative models.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the AW-UE40WPJ5 and other models in the range?

The AW-UE40WPJ5 is a single 4K PTZ model with 24X optical zoom and built-in auto tracking; choose it when you need that specific zoom and tracking combination in a white NDI-ready unit.

What does the 24X zoom deliver in an actual meeting room?

The 24X optical zoom lets the camera frame a presenter clearly from the back of a typical conference room without digital cropping, while the 4K sensor keeps detail sharp when the auto tracking follows movement.
