Panasonic DMW-AC10 AC Adapter

The Panasonic DMW-AC10 AC Adapter provides continuous mains power for the LUMIX GH4 and GH5 digital cameras. It connects to the camera body via a dedicated DC coupler that must be purchased separately. This accessory is intended for studio work, long-form video recording or any situation where battery changes are impractical. It is not suited for photographers who rely solely on battery packs for mobile shooting.

100–240 VAC global input range

The adapter accepts a 100–240 VAC supply, allowing use on mains voltages worldwide without a separate transformer. A removable 4.9' power cable with a standard North American two-prong plug is included for the wall outlet. The fixed 4.3' DC output cord terminates in a plug that inserts into the required coupler. No other cable types or plug standards are supplied in the box.

Compact design with fixed and detachable cords

The unit is described as compact and portable, featuring an attached 4.3' DC cord and a detachable 4.9' AC cable. This split-cable arrangement lets the heavier AC portion stay at the outlet while the lighter DC lead runs to the camera. The separate DMW-DCC12 coupler locks into the camera's battery compartment, so the adapter cannot operate without it. Compatibility also extends to several other LUMIX models including the G85, GX850, FZ80, FZ2500 and LX10.

Questions about this item

Is this the only Panasonic AC adapter for the GH4, or are there other versions?

The DMW-AC10 is the specific model listed for the LUMIX GH4 and GH5; no alternative versions appear in the product data.

What does the 100-240VAC rating mean when I plug it into a wall socket?

It accepts any mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts worldwide, so you can use it abroad with only a plug adapter.

Does the barrel connector on the 4.3' cord fit the GH4 directly, or do I need the DMW-DCC12 coupler?

The DC plug requires the separate DMW-DCC12 DC Coupler to connect to the camera's battery compartment.
