Four-bay charger for FZ-G2 MK1

The Panasonic FZ-VCBG21M charges up to four batteries for the FZ-G2 MK1 tablet in a single desktop unit. It ships with an AC adapter and power cord so it is ready to use immediately. Fleet administrators and field teams can keep spare packs topped up without tying up the tablet itself.

Replaces single-slot dock charging

Moving from a one-bay dock to this four-bay station lets a team charge a full rotation of packs overnight. The jump is worth it when several tablets share a pool of batteries and downtime for charging creates a bottleneck. Solo users with only one spare pack will not see the same benefit.

Sustained multi-bay operation

The charger delivers power to all four bays simultaneously rather than cycling them sequentially. Heat is managed across the full charging session so each bay maintains its rate without throttling. The unit is designed for repeated daily cycles in a fixed location.

Questions about this item

Does the Panasonic FZ-VCBG21M require any brackets or rails to sit on a desk or shelf?

The charger ships with its own AC adapter and power cord, so it simply rests on a flat surface — no mounting hardware is needed.

What is the step users most often miss when setting up the FZ-VCBG21M for the first time?

Insert each FZ-G2 battery until it clicks into the bay, then plug the supplied AC adapter into mains power; the charger will not begin charging until both actions are done.

Which part of the FZ-VCBG21M is most likely to need replacement after extended use?

The removable battery contacts inside each bay can wear over time; they are the only serviceable items on the unit.
