Professional 4K camcorder bundle

The Panasonic HC-X1600 is a compact UHD 4K camcorder aimed at professional videographers, content creators and live streamers. Its 1/2.5" 8.29MP MOS sensor captures crisp 4K60 video with accurate colour reproduction. The 25mm wide-angle lens provides 24x optical zoom reaching 600mm, extending to 48x i.ZOOM in Full HD. This bundle adds a VideoMic microphone, LED video light, 64GB Extreme PRO SDXC card, padded case and essential accessories for immediate production use.

Dual-band Wi-Fi streaming and stabilisation

Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi enables live streaming at Full HD using RTSP, RTP, RTMP and RTMPS protocols for direct broadcasting to social platforms. Hybrid 5-axis optical image stabilisation keeps footage steady during handheld operation. Face detection autofocus maintains sharp focus on moving subjects. The camcorder records at a high bit rate of 200 Mb/s in MOV, MP4 and AVCHD formats, while Full HD capture reaches 120/100 fps for slow-motion sequences.

Dual SD slots with HDMI and XLR audio

Two SD card slots allow relay recording or simultaneous backup without interrupting the shoot. HDMI output feeds an external monitor or recorder, while XLR and 3.5 mm audio inputs support professional microphones and line-level sources. Built-in ND filters adapt exposure in changing light conditions. The OLED EVF and 3.5" LCD touchscreen provide precise monitoring and control. Buyers needing internal ND filter steps beyond those fitted or more than two card slots should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 62mm UV filter onto the 24x zoom lens without cross-threading the threads?

Screw the 62mm UV filter clockwise onto the lens front until it seats firmly; the 25mm wide-angle end stays accessible and the 600mm telephoto reach is unchanged.

Which consumable will need replacing first during regular 4K60 shoots at 200 Mb/s?

The 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC card fills in roughly forty minutes at 200 Mb/s, so a spare high-capacity card becomes the first consumable you cycle.

What thermal limit stops continuous UHD 4K60 recording before the battery empties?

The camcorder enforces a 60-minute continuous clip ceiling for UHD 4K60, so recording stops at that mark even though the 5900mAh battery could run longer.
