Sheet-fed scanner for workgroups

The Panasonic KV-S1057C is a sheet-fed document scanner built for office workgroups. It captures colour, greyscale and monochrome pages at up to 65 ppm simplex and 130 ipm duplex at 200 dpi and 300 dpi. A 100-sheet automatic document feeder handles paper from 48 x 54 mm up to 218 mm wide with unlimited length. Optical resolution reaches 600 dpi with a CIS sensor and RGB LED illumination.

High-volume offices needing mixed-media support

This scanner suits departments that process large daily batches of standard and non-standard media such as embossed ID cards or passports. The USB 3.0 interface requires a direct host connection; hubs are not guaranteed to work. Buyers who need network or wireless scanning, or who operate on macOS or Linux without Windows virtualisation, should consider other solutions.

65 ppm duplex speed at 200 and 300 dpi

The defining specification is the rated throughput of 65 pages per minute simplex and 130 images per minute duplex at both 200 dpi and 300 dpi. This speed is maintained across colour, greyscale and monochrome modes. If your workflow demands faster rated speeds or higher optical resolution than 600 dpi, this model will not meet that requirement.
