Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH POWER OIS with UV bundle

Portrait prime with cleaning kit

The Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH POWER OIS lens arrives in a UV bundle that includes a blower, cleaning pen, microfiber cloth, starter kit, tulip hood and 67mm UV filter. It is a fixed-length Micro Four Thirds prime designed for photographers who want a fast aperture and built-in stabilisation in a single, all-metal body.

Suited to low-light portrait work.

The 85mm equivalent focal length and f/1.2 maximum aperture suit portrait and low-light photographers who prize shallow depth of field and subject separation. The nine-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth background rendition. Shooters who need variable framing or wider angles for environmental and group scenes should look at a different focal length.

The lens delivers a 35mm-equivalent 85mm view with a fast f/1.2 aperture and Panasonic Power OIS optical image stabilisation to reduce camera shake. Two aspherical elements, a Nano Surface Coating, an Extra-low Dispersion element and an Ultra High Refractive Index element control aberrations and flare. An external aperture ring and all-metal mount complete the specification. The included 67mm UV filter and tulip hood protect the front element.
