Compatible replacement lamp

The 165W DLP replacement lamp is built for the Panasonic PT-AE2000U projector and ships with the Osram bulb already seated in its housing. Home-theatre owners and installers can swap the module without handling the bare lamp, reducing the risk of contamination or misalignment. The unit arrives new and is ready for immediate installation.

Rated output and service interval

At 165 watts the lamp delivers the brightness the projector was designed for, supporting typical film and presentation use in darkened rooms. Light output will gradually decline over time, and the projector's internal timer will eventually prompt replacement. The supplier backs the module with a 240-day warranty period.

Housing-based installation limits

Because the lamp ships pre-assembled in its cage, the only interface is the projector's proprietary lamp door and connector. No separate ballast or wiring work is required, but the module cannot be used in any other projector model. Buyers needing a bare bulb for a different housing or a higher-wattage alternative will not be served by this part.

Questions about this item

Will the 165 W lamp run on the existing ballast in my PT-AE2000U projector?

The lamp is rated at 165 W and is built to match the original specification for the PT-AE2000U, so it works with the projector's existing ballast without modification.

How can I confirm the new lamp is operating correctly after installation?

Reset the lamp timer in the projector menu, then verify the image is bright and stable with no warning indicators during the first few hours of use.

Does the box include the housing or only the bare bulb?

The module ships as a complete lamp-and-housing assembly with an Osram bulb inside, so no separate housing purchase is required.
