Panasonic PT-CW331RU OEM Replacement Lamp

This replacement lamp module includes a new Osram P-VIP 280W bulb pre-assembled in its housing for direct installation in compatible Panasonic projectors. It is intended for users who need to restore brightness after the original lamp reaches end of life. Buyers who want a bare bulb without the housing will find this module unsuitable.

Sustained 280W operation and 3,000 hours rated life

The 280W P-VIP lamp is rated for 3,000 hours of operation under normal use. Output stability is maintained through consistent ignition and voltage regulation verified during ISO9001 quality checks. Projectors used continuously for long sessions will see gradual brightness decline as the lamp ages toward its rated limit.

ISO9001 manufacturing and compatibility limits

Each unit undergoes ISO9001 standard checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time before shipment. The module fits projectors designed for the PT-CW331RU or SP.8UP01GC01 part numbers only. Installations in other projector models or modified housings are not supported by this lamp design.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 280W lamp add when the projector runs all day?

The 280W P-VIP bulb draws its rated power, so the projector's cooling fan will run at the level the manufacturer designed for that wattage; expect the same heat and acoustic profile as the original lamp.

What must I already own to install this lamp module?

You need a compatible Panasonic projector that accepts the PT-CW331RU module; the unit ships as a complete housing with the Osram bulb inside, so no extra tools or separate bulb are required.

Will this replacement work reliably in an older Panasonic projector I've kept for years?

Yes — the module is built to the original 3,000-hour specification and ISO 9001 quality checks, so it matches the ignition voltage, beam performance and run-time the older projector expects.
