Verify projector model and lamp code

Confirm the projector is a Panasonic PT-EX12KU and that the original lamp part number is POA-LMP146 before ordering. This module fits only that specific projector and lamp combination. No other Panasonic models or lamp codes are supported by this replacement unit.

Replaces original POA-LMP146 lamp module

This lamp restores brightness when the original POA-LMP146 reaches end of life or fails. The upgrade is worth it when image dimming affects presentations or when the projector warning indicates lamp replacement. It returns the projector to factory-specified output without requiring a new projector purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the POA-LMP146 lamp ship with the bulb already fitted in its housing, or must the housing be purchased separately?

The module arrives as a complete assembly with the 300W UHP bulb pre-installed in the housing, so no extra parts are required for installation.

What are the differences between the three OEM versions and the compatible version offered for the PT-EX12KU?

The three OEM versions come from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita — either the original bulb maker, Panasonic's own supply, or an alternate OEM — while the compatible version is built by a leading third-party using genuine OEM components.

How many hours can I expect from the 300W lamp in normal and economy modes once installed?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours in normal mode and 3,000 hours in economy mode.
