Panasonic PT-FX500 320W projector lamp

This genuine replacement lamp module fits Panasonic PT-FX500 projectors. It ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing for immediate installation. The unit uses a Philips UHM bulb rated at 320 watts. Buyers who need a different wattage or connector type should verify their projector model first.

4,000-hour rated life with 320W output

The lamp delivers up to 4,000 hours of operation under normal use. At 320 watts it provides the brightness specified for the PT-FX500 series. Heavy daily use will reduce the effective lifespan, and the lamp cannot exceed its rated hours. Users requiring longer intervals between replacements need a projector with a higher-rated lamp.

ISO 9001 manufacturing and direct-fit housing

Each module is built to ISO 9001 quality standards using bulbs from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita. The pre-assembled housing eliminates alignment steps during replacement. No tools beyond those required by the projector are needed. Installers who prefer bare bulbs without a housing cannot use this module.

Questions about this item

Will this 320 W UHM lamp run in the Panasonic PT-FX500 I already own?

The module is built to the PT-FX500 specification and includes the correct housing, so it fits and ignites in that projector without modification.

How can I confirm the 4 000-hour rating is being met after I install it?

The projector’s lamp-hour counter will track usage from zero; when it approaches 4 000 hours the replacement warning appears, confirming the rated life.

Does the box contain only the bare bulb or the complete housing assembly?

The product is a fully assembled lamp module — bulb inside housing — so nothing else is required for installation.
