Direct replacement for Panasonic projectors

This OEM replacement lamp module fits Panasonic PT-LB20SU projectors and ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is intended for users who need a new light source without rewiring or additional parts. The unit arrives ready for immediate installation.

Check projector model and lamp hours

Verify that your projector uses the PT-LB20SU designation before ordering. Confirm the existing lamp has reached or is approaching its rated service interval so the swap restores full brightness. No electrical or firmware changes are required on the projector side.

Fits existing housing and frees maintenance time

The module slides into the original lamp compartment using the factory mounting points and connector. Once seated, it restores rated output for up to 2,000 hours of operation. The pre-assembled design eliminates bulb-only handling and reduces downtime during routine service.

Questions about this item

Does the lamp ship as a complete bulb-and-housing module ready to fit, or must the housing be purchased separately?

The PT-LB20SU lamp arrives as a fully assembled module with a new Osram UHM 155W bulb already mounted in its housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

How do the three OEM versions and the compatible version differ in origin?

The three OEM versions come from the original bulb maker, from Panasonic itself, and from another OEM bulb maker; the compatible version is built by a leading third-party using genuine OEM parts.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for daily classroom use?

At roughly four hours per school day the 2,000-hour rating translates to about two academic years before the lamp reaches its rated end of life.
