Replacement Lamp for Panasonic Projectors

This Panasonic PT-U1S87 replacement lamp module delivers 155W of power with a rated lifespan of 2,000 hours. It ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for immediate installation. The lamp uses a UHM bulb sourced from Osram and is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards. It restores original brightness to compatible Panasonic projectors.

Check Projector Model and Lamp Compatibility

Verify that your projector accepts the PT-U1S87 or ET-LAB10 part number before ordering. Ensure the existing lamp housing matches the assembled module design for proper fit. Confirm the projector’s power requirements align with the 155W rating of this replacement unit. Installation requires no special tools but follow the manufacturer’s reset procedure for the lamp timer.

Replaces Worn or Failed Original Lamps

This module replaces a dimming or expired factory lamp rated for 2,000 hours of use. The upgrade is worthwhile when image brightness drops noticeably or the projector signals a lamp replacement warning. It restores full output without the cost of a new projector. Buyers needing a higher wattage or longer rated life should confirm their hardware supports different specifications.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a housing separately?

The lamp module includes a new 155W Osram UHM bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no separate housing purchase is required.

How do I choose between the OEM and compatible versions offered for the PT-U1S87?

Three OEM versions use bulbs from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita; the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker — pick based on budget and brand preference.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for everyday use of this 155W lamp?

The 2,000-hour figure is the manufacturer-rated lamp life under standard operating conditions; actual runtime will vary with projector settings, ambient temperature and usage patterns.
