Fully-Rugged 2-in-1 for Field Workers

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 MK1 is a fully-rugged convertible laptop built for professionals who operate in harsh environments. Its detachable keyboard allows use as a tablet or traditional laptop. The Intel Core i5-7300U processor with 8 GB DDR3L memory handles typical business applications. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is installed and cannot be upgraded to Windows 11.

QHD Sunlight-Readable Display Limits

The 12.0-inch IPS panel delivers a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution with multi-touch and digitiser pen support. Sunlight-readable technology keeps the screen visible outdoors. Touch input works with gloves or wet fingers. The display resolution is fixed and cannot be changed to a higher native pixel count.

Detachable Keyboard and OS Constraint

The premium backlit keyboard attaches magnetically and releases with a latch for quick mode switching. The AC adapter and digitiser pen are included in the package. Windows 10 Pro is not upgradeable to Windows 11, limiting future software compatibility. Buyers needing a supported operating system should consider this constraint before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 256 GB SSD or the 512 GB SSD option?

The 256 GB SSD is the capacity confirmed for this unit; the 512 GB figure appears in a generic spec block and does not apply to this listing.

How does the Core i5-7300U at 2.60 GHz with a 3.50 GHz turbo feel in daily Windows 10 Pro use?

The dual-core Kaby Lake processor handles office apps and web browsing smoothly; the 3.50 GHz turbo gives short bursts for heavier tasks while the 3 MB cache keeps responsiveness snappy.

What does Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.1 actually limit me to in the field?

802.11ac provides solid dual-band throughput for typical hotspot speeds, while Bluetooth 4.1 + EDR pairs reliably with peripherals and the integrated 4G LTE and dGPS modules.
