Aluminium vise head with smooth nylon jaws opens 2 1/4 inches and rotates 360 degrees
The PanaVise 304 is a low-profile vise head built with an aluminum body and nylon jaws. It offers a maximum jaw opening of 2 1/4 inches and a smooth jaw face that is 2 1/2 inches wide. The head rotates 360 degrees and swivels 360 degrees at the base for flexible positioning. It mounts via a single 5/8 inch hole and is compatible with the model 305 base.
This vise head suits users who need a compact, non-marring clamp for small parts, electronics, or modelling work. The nylon jaws protect delicate surfaces from damage. It is not for buyers who need to hold large or heavy workpieces beyond the 2 1/4 inch capacity. It is also not for applications requiring serrated or metal jaw faces for aggressive gripping.
The head comfortably handles items up to 2 inches in pipe diameter and provides a throat depth of 1 3/8 inches. The 360 degree rotation and swivel allow access from any angle without remounting. It runs out of capacity when workpieces exceed the maximum jaw opening or when higher clamping force is needed for industrial machining. The overall length is 7 inches and the depth and width are both 2 5/8 inches.

You need a compatible base such as the model 305 that accepts a single 5/8 in mounting hole, because the vise head itself has only one mounting hole of that diameter.
It fits any base that matches the model 305 specification and provides a 5/8 in mounting hole; older bases without that hole pattern will not accept it.
The head should rotate smoothly through 360 degrees, the jaws should open to the full 2-1/4 in maximum, and the nylon faces should grip a 2 in diameter pipe without slipping.
