Panduit Cable Tie 7.4 in Brown PK100

This pack contains one hundred brown cable ties made from PEEK polymer. Each tie measures 7.4 inches in actual length with a width of 0.19 inches and a thickness of 0.06 inches. They use a plastic pawl locking style to secure bundles up to 1.88 inches in diameter. The ties are halogen-free, impact resistant and rated for outdoor use.

Replaces standard nylon ties in high-heat

Standard nylon ties soften well below the 500 degrees Fahrenheit upper limit of this PEEK material. The jump is worth it when bundles run near exhaust manifolds, in engine compartments or through plenum-rated areas where low-smoke and flame-retardant properties are required. The 150 lb tensile strength also exceeds many general-purpose ties.

Maintains clamping force through thermal cycling

PEEK resists creep at sustained temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and remains flexible down to minus 76 degrees Fahrenheit. The material does not become brittle after repeated heat-soak cycles the way nylon can. Halogen-free, low-smoke combustion characteristics stay consistent during prolonged exposure to vibration and temperature extremes.
