Panduit Mini-Com TX6 PLUS Cat 6 connector

This Panduit CJ688TGIW snap-in module provides a Category 6 UTP jack for Mini-Com faceplates and patch panels. The off-white housing fits standard keystone openings and accepts a single RJ-45 plug for structured cabling runs. It is built to support Gigabit Ethernet performance in commercial and residential installations.

Ideal for installers finishing Cat 6 links

Technicians who need a tool-less or punch-down Category 6 jack that matches Panduit Mini-Com footprint will find this connector suitable. It is not intended for shielded cabling, Category 6A or higher performance tiers, or non-Mini-Com mounting systems. Buyers requiring angled shutters, colour-coded icons or outdoor-rated housings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the Mini-Com TX6 PLUS jack need re-termination after a certain number of insertions?

The RJ-45 interface is rated for repeated mating cycles, so the jack itself does not require scheduled re-termination under normal use.

What limits sustained throughput on the Cat 6 TX6 PLUS connector?

The Cat 6 rating governs the bandwidth ceiling, so sustained throughput is limited by the channel specification rather than the jack alone.
