Duplex OS1/OS2 Patch Cord

This Panduit F92ERLNLNSNM002 is a duplex single-mode fibre patch cord built with a 1.6 mm yellow jacket. It carries two fibres and terminates in LC male connectors for direct equipment links. The 6.50 ft length suits rack-to-rack or panel-to-switch runs inside a cabinet.

Installers needing a short OS1/OS2 jumper

Technicians who require a pre-terminated duplex lead for single-mode infrastructure will find the specification matches that task. Buyers who need multimode fibre, armoured construction, or a different connector polish should select another product.

1.6 mm jacket diameter

The cable uses a 1.6 mm jacket, which determines bend radius and tray fill in dense patches. Verify that your pathway and panel density allow this jacket size before ordering.

Questions about this item

What jacket diameter does the 6.50 ft cable need to pass through?

The patch cord uses a 1.6 mm jacket, so any conduit or cable tray opening must accommodate that diameter.

How do the two LC male connectors engage, and what step is often missed?

Push each LC connector straight into its adapter until the latch clicks; the common mistake is stopping before the latch fully seats.

When should the OS1/OS2 duplex patch cord be replaced?

Replace it if the yellow jacket shows cracks, the ferrules are scratched, or insertion loss exceeds your link budget.
