NetKey Cat.5e RJ-45 connector

The Panduit NK5E88MORY is a NetKey Cat.5e RJ-45 network connector supplied in orange. It terminates twisted-pair cable for structured cabling systems. Installers and network technicians use it to build or repair copper links in patch panels, wall outlets or consolidation points.

Sustained-load behaviour

The connector meets Cat.5e transmission requirements so signal integrity holds across long cable runs. RoHS compliance confirms the materials meet restricted-substance limits for regulated environments. No active components are present, so thermal or electrical drift does not occur.

Installation and common issues

Termination follows the standard punch-down sequence for the NetKey series; no special tooling beyond a compatible impact tool is required. The orange housing aids circuit identification in dense panels. Mis-wired pairs or untwisted conductors at the termination point are the typical causes of failed certification.
