Cable tie mounting base for 4-way routing

The Panduit SGABM40-A-L is a 4-way adhesive mounting pad designed for cable tie routing in audio and video installations. Each pad measures 1.5 in by 1.5 in with a height of 0.34 in and accepts miniature, intermediate and standard cable ties. A pack contains 50 pieces for larger projects.

Nylon 6/6 construction handles temperature extremes

The natural-coloured nylon 6/6 material operates from -20 Degrees F to 185 Degrees F without flame-retardant additives. CE and RoHS compliance confirm the material meets restricted-substance requirements. Adhesive backing holds the pad in place during sustained thermal cycling.

Check surface and tie compatibility before ordering

Verify that the mounting surface is clean, flat and compatible with the supplied adhesive for reliable long-term bonding. Confirm your cable ties fit the 0.42 in slot width and 0.09 in slot height. The pack weight is 5.27 units and the item is restricted from sale in certain states.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the 1.5 in by 1.5 in mounting pad handle before it deforms?

The Nylon 6/6 material is rated from -104 °F to 185 °F, so continuous operation inside that range will not cause deformation.

What cable-tie sizes do I need to have on hand for the four slots to be useful?

The 0.42 in wide by 0.09 in high slots accept miniature, intermediate and standard cable ties, so any of those three sizes will work.

Will the adhesive on these white pads stick reliably to the painted metal chassis of my older rack?

The adhesive-backed bases bond to clean painted metal, and the CE and RoHS compliant Nylon 6/6 resists embrittlement down to -20 °F.
