Cable Management for 19-Inch Racks

The Panduit WMP1E is a dual-sided horizontal finger manager that occupies two rack units in a standard 19.0-inch enclosure. It provides structured routing for patch cords on both the front and rear faces, keeping dense cabling organised and accessible for network administrators and installers.

Passive Cooling and Zero Power Draw

The unit operates without fans or active components, so it adds no noise or electrical load to the rack. Its open finger design allows unrestricted airflow around cables, supporting the thermal performance of adjacent active equipment without contributing heat of its own.

ABS Construction with Included Hardware

Moulded from black ABS, the manager includes snap-on covers and all mounting hardware for immediate installation. The 3.5-inch height and 8.9-inch depth fit within the 2RU allocation, while the dual-sided fingers simplify day-to-day moves, adds and changes by keeping cables separated and visible from either side.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Panduit WMP1E in a standard 19-inch rack, and which step is often missed?

Use the included mounting hardware to secure the 19.0-inch wide unit across two rack units; the step often missed is fitting the supplied covers after cables are routed.

What maintenance will the ABS finger manager need over time?

The ABS construction requires no scheduled maintenance; simply inspect fingers for cracks during rack audits and wipe dust from the black finish as needed.

What physical limit appears first when the manager is fully loaded with patch cords?

The 8.9-inch depth fills before the 3.5-inch height, so cable congestion at the rear becomes the first constraint under sustained use.
