Two-Pack 4 W Solar Kit

The Paodekua solar panel kit ships as a matched pair of 4-watt units designed to keep Ring Stick Up Cam and Spotlight Cam battery models powered without manual recharging. Each panel includes a 10 ft USB-C cable and a barrel-plug adapter so it connects directly to the camera’s charging port. The white finish and compact 7.5 x 6.5 x .4 in footprint suit discreet outdoor mounting on walls, fences or eaves.

360° Rotatable Mount

A full 360-degree adjustable bracket lets you angle each panel toward the sun’s path throughout the year, replacing fixed-position chargers that lose efficiency when seasons change. The long cable adds placement flexibility, so you can route the panel to a sunny spot even when the camera sits in shade. The upgrade is worthwhile when your current charger cannot be repositioned or its shorter lead forces a sub-optimal orientation.

Sustained Outdoor Operation

Rated 6 V output, the panels deliver continuous trickle charge during daylight hours and maintain camera operation through intermittent cloud cover. Waterproof-sealed connectors and .84 kg ruggedised construction withstand rain, hail and high wind without performance drop-off. Under prolonged overcast conditions the charge rate falls, so the system relies on several hours of direct sun each day to keep the battery topped up.

Questions about this item

What size mounting area do the 7.5 in by 6.5 in panels with .4 in thickness need?

Each panel measures 7.5 in wide by 6.5 in tall and only .4 in thick, so the bracket footprint fits a small flat surface or wall section.

How do I route the 10 ft cable and set the 360° mount so the panel faces true south?

Screw the bracket to a stud or masonry, rotate the arm until the panel faces the equator, then run the 10 ft cable along the eave using the supplied nail clips.

Will the USB-C to barrel adapter or the 360° bracket need replacement after a few seasons?

The adapter and bracket are built for outdoor exposure; only the panel surface benefits from occasional wiping to keep the 4 W output consistent.
