Paper Mate Clearpoint 0.7mm 6 Pack

This pack contains six mechanical pencils with a 0.7 mm HB #2 lead size. Each pencil features a soft grip and a side-advance mechanism that reloads lead without changing your grip. Assorted barrel colours are included for easy identification or personal preference. The jumbo twist eraser removes marks cleanly.

Suited for daily writing and standardised tests

Students, office workers and journal keepers who want consistent line width and comfortable long sessions will appreciate the soft grip and reliable feed. Buyers who need a finer 0.5 mm line or a broader 0.9 mm stroke should look at other variants. Artists requiring specialised drafting grades or fixed-sleeve tips will not find them here.

0.7 mm HB #2 lead diameter

The 0.7 mm lead diameter is the single specification that determines line thickness and compatibility with standardised answer sheets. It matches the common #2 requirement for scanning and general writing tasks. If your work demands a different lead size, this pack will not suit.

Questions about this item

How do I load 0.7 mm lead into the side-advance mechanism without losing my grip?

Hold the pencil normally, slide the side button forward to open the internal jaws, drop the 0.7 mm HB lead into the exposed channel, then release the button to lock it in place.

Which parts will need replacing over time and what sizes are compatible?

The jumbo twist eraser twists out for replacement, and the pencil accepts standard 0.7 mm HB refill leads; 0.5 mm and 0.9 mm leads are not compatible with this model.

What is the first limitation I will hit during a long writing session?

The 0.7 mm lead diameter determines line width and break resistance; once the lead wears down you must advance more, but the soft grip and jumbo eraser remain effective throughout.
