Parker Push-Fit Elbow for 3/8 in Tube
This Parker push-fit elbow connects 3/8 inch tube to a 1/4 inch NPTF port using a bio-based nylon body. It is intended for vacuum applications where a quick, tool-free joint is required. The white fitting includes pre-applied thread sealant on the NPTF side. The compact 1 1/2 inch overall length suits tight routing.
230 psi and 200 °F operating limits
The fitting is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 230 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 200 degrees F. These limits cover typical low-pressure fluid and vacuum lines in residential and light commercial plumbing. Systems that exceed either pressure or temperature will need a different fitting class.
Replaces threaded compression elbows on nylon tube
Installers can swap out threaded compression elbows on 3/8 inch nylon tube without re-threading the port or using pipe dope. The push-to-connect design cuts assembly time and eliminates ferrule damage on soft tube. The jump is not worth it if the port is metric, if the tube is metal, or if the system runs above the rated pressure or temperature.

Questions about this item
Will the 3/8 in tube size on the 6509 60 14Wp2 connect to the 3/8 in line I already have?
Yes. Side A is a push-to-connect port for 3/8 in outer-diameter tube, so it will join your existing 3/8 in line without additional adapters.
How can I verify the 6509 60 14Wp2 is seated correctly after installation?
Push the tube in until it stops, then pull gently; the collet teeth should grip and the tube should not withdraw. Pressurise the system up to 230 psi and check for leaks at the joint.
Does the 6509 60 14Wp2 come with thread sealant or do I need to buy it separately?
The fitting includes pre-applied thread sealant on the 1/4 in NPTF side, so no separate sealant is required for that connection.
