15 A maximum continuous current

The adapter’s 5-15P male end limits the entire assembly to 15 A, regardless of the 50 A rating on the female SS2-50R side. Two hot terminals are bridged inside the connector so the single 15 A supply feeds both poles of the marine inlet. Exceeding 15 A will trip the household breaker or overheat the adapter.

Powers light loads up to 1875 W
