  • Integrated GPS enables precise location tracking

Chihuahua PRO antenna for IoT deployments

This Parsec Chihuahua PRO antenna is built for industrial IoT use such as pipeline monitoring, kiosks and ATMs. Its rugged housing meets the IP67 rating so it withstands dust and water in outdoor enclosures. The compact external design fits tight mounting spaces on remote equipment.

IP67 rating defines the environmental limit

The IP67 seal protects against immersion up to the depth and duration the standard specifies, but it does not guarantee survival under high-pressure wash-down or prolonged submersion beyond the test conditions. Installers must verify that cable entries and connectors maintain the same ingress protection once the antenna is mounted.

Six-element configuration determines coverage fit

The PRO3ST2LG06B provides six internal elements arranged for MIMO LTE, up to three Wi-Fi radios and GPS in a single radome. Buyers needing fewer than six ports or a different frequency mix should select another Chihuahua variant that matches their exact radio count.

Questions about this item

Which Chihuahua PRO antenna configuration should I choose for an IoT deployment that needs cellular, Wi-Fi, and GPS?

Select the MIMO LTE version with up to three Wi-Fi elements and GPS to cover cellular, local wireless, and positioning in one housing.

What does the IP67 rating mean when the antenna is mounted on a pipeline monitor or kiosk?

IP67 means the enclosure is dust-tight and survives temporary immersion, so rain, hose-downs, and blowing dust will not penetrate the radome.

How does the IP67 seal affect the antenna's RF performance in practice?

The sealed radome protects the internal elements without adding a conductive barrier, so signal transmission and reception remain unimpeded.
