Industrial all-in-one for harsh environments

The Partaker A20 is a 15-inch fanless panel PC built around an Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. Its IP65-rated front panel and rugged aluminum-steel chassis withstand dust, water jets and wide temperature swings. The resistive touchscreen operates reliably with gloves or stylus input. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate deployment in factory automation, kiosk or outdoor monitoring roles.

Memory and storage headroom

The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz memory in a single SODIMM slot that supports up to 32GB total. Dual M.2 2280 slots accept NVMe or SATA drives alongside a 2.5-inch bay for additional SSD or HDD capacity. The 256GB NVMe boot drive handles OS and application loads, while the open slots provide room for local data logging or redundant storage without external enclosures.

Integration flexibility and constraints

Three independent LAN ports (two Gigabit, one 2.5G) plus six COM ports with RS232/485 options connect PLCs, barcode scanners and legacy serial gear directly. Four isolated GPIO lines and HDMI output support external displays or control signals. A 9-36V DC Phoenix connector with reverse polarity protection suits unstable industrial power. Expansion via Mini PCIe and M.2 E-Key allows wireless modules, but the 4:3 aspect ratio and fixed 1024×768 resolution limit modern widescreen UI layouts.

Questions about this item

Will the 6 COM ports and 9-36V DC input on the A20 connect directly to my existing RS-485 sensors and 24V power supply?

Yes, COM3 and COM4 are configurable for RS-485 and the Phoenix connector accepts 9-36V DC with reverse polarity protection, matching industrial 24V systems.

How can I verify the resistive touchscreen and fanless cooling are functioning correctly after installation?

The 1024×768 4:3 display should register single-touch input at 350 cd/m² brightness, and the aluminum chassis remains silent while the i5-1235U maintains up to 4.40 GHz under load.

Does the box include the 16GB DDR5 module and 256GB NVMe drive, or must I purchase memory and storage separately?

The system ships with 16GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM and 256GB NVMe SSD installed; the second M.2 2280 slot and 2.5-inch bay remain free for expansion.
