Target Users

This system suits buyers who need a quiet, low-power PC for basic office tasks, digital signage or thin-client deployments. It is not for users who require discrete graphics performance, higher multi-threaded throughput or integrated wireless-ac connectivity.

Expansion Limits

Two SO-DIMM slots accept DDR3L or LPDDR3 modules up to 16 GB total at 1333 or 1600 MT/s. One full-size mSATA and one half-size mini-PCIe slot provide internal storage and wireless expansion.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Partaker B1 mini PC is running correctly after I connect power and a display?

The fanless aluminium chassis should stay silent, the DC 12 V/5 A adapter LED will light, and the Intel HD Graphics 4400 will send a picture to the VGA or HDMI port once memory and storage are installed.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

Included are the silver aluminium chassis with motherboard, soldered i5-4200U CPU, Intel HD Graphics 4400, dual Wi-Fi antennas, 12 V/5 A power adapter and mini PC stand; you must add DDR3L or LPDDR3 SO-DIMM memory up to 16 GB and an mSATA SSD or 2.5-inch drive.

Which processor variant should I choose among the listed i5-4200U, i5-4210U, i5-4230U and i5-4250U options?

All four are dual-core 4th-generation Core i5 CPUs with 3 MB cache; the i5-4200U runs at 1.60 GHz base and 2.60 GHz turbo, while the others differ only in clock speed, so pick the highest turbo you need within your budget.
