Compact Xeon workstation

The Partaker B17 packs a sixteen-core Xeon D-1581 with 24 MB cache and a discrete Quadro K620 into a 280 x 200 x 52 mm aluminium chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of DDR4-2133 and a 512 GB SSD, targeting users who need multi-threaded CPU performance in a silent, space-saving desktop.

Build integration

The 19 V DC input and 65 W TDP keep power demands modest, while the smart fan runs below 25 decibels when the unit is stood vertically. Dual display outputs via DP and DVI drive two monitors at once, and the board provides one M.2 SATA, one M.2 NVMe and one 2.5-inch SATA bay for storage expansion up to 128 GB of memory.

Capacity and headroom

Sixteen cores and thirty-two threads handle parallel workloads such as compilation, virtualization or rendering far beyond typical quad-core mini PCs. The Quadro K620 with 2 GB GDDR3 drives professional viewports and 4K output but lacks the VRAM for heavy GPU compute or modern gaming titles.

Questions about this item

Will the 65 W TDP of the Xeon D-1581 throttle under sustained all-core load?

The 65 W TDP is the rated power limit; the smart silent fan keeps noise below 25 dB while dissipating that heat.

How loud is the smart silent fan during continuous operation?

Sound stays below 25 decibels; placing the unit vertically reduces fan speed and noise further.

Does the box include a monitor, keyboard or mouse for immediate use?

Monitor not included; the pack supplies the B17 Mini PC, power supply, power cord, vertical stand, WiFi antennas and warranty card only.
