Partaker B18 Xeon Mini PC

The Partaker B18 is a compact barebone mini PC built around an Intel Xeon E-2176M processor with six cores and twelve threads running up to 4.40 GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4-2666 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD, plus Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. The 134 x 144 x 64mm chassis weighs 1.05 kg and uses a smart silent fan to manage the 45W TDP.

Suits offices needing ECC and dual LAN.

This unit suits buyers who need ECC memory support, dual Gigabit LAN ports (Intel I219-V and Realtek RTL8111), and native 4K@60Hz output over both DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 for signage or thin-client roles. It does not suit builders who want a discrete graphics card, a PCIe add-in card, or a second 2.5-inch drive bay beyond the single 9.5mm slot provided.

Deciding spec: Xeon E-2176M with ECC DDR4 support

The Xeon E-2176M on the Intel 300 series PCH is the specification that decides fit: it brings 12MB cache, 45W TDP, and official ECC DDR4 support up to 64GB across two SODIMM slots. Storage expansion uses two M.2 2280 Key M slots (one NVMe-only PCIe 3.0 x4, one NVMe or SATA) plus the 2.5-inch bay. Power is supplied by a 100W 20V 5A DC adapter.

The 45W TDP and smart silent fan define the thermal ceiling before throttling can occur.

How loud and hot does the smart silent fan get during all-day operation?

The smart silent fan is designed for minimal heat and low noise while maintaining stable long-term operation.

Which display cables and monitor inputs are needed to use the DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 ports?

You need a DisplayPort cable for DP 1.2 and an HDMI cable for HDMI 2.0, both supporting 4k@60Hz.
